Places

Ok, let me take a moment to state the obvious: the east coast is visually different from where I’m at on the west coast.

I saw a lot of things that were new to me.

Top to bottom: Boston; Boston; Philly; somewhere between Mechanicsville and Richmond, Virginia; Spanish moss at the Ashantilly Center in Darien, Georgia; a view from the Atlanta botanical gardens; Atlanta.

Tomorrow I am going home. Eight cities, seven schools, three weeks later.

I’m looking forward to seeing my mister and my family and taking some quiet time to mellow out and reflect on all these things that I’ve seen and done. There are a lot of things to consider, things to decide.

And, happy thanksgiving! I hope everyone is having a restful weekend with their families. And Tucson friends+family, SEE YOU SOON.

Trains

I’m halfway through my travels. I’ve seen old friends, new friends, all kinds of art, print shops, schools, planes, trains, buses. Cheers to everyone who has helped me out (so many of you! I’ve been lost and found).

I’ve got a long day and night of traveling. Fortunately this train has wifi, and I’ve got Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? with me (courtesy of Anna), so I’ve got a good meditative rainy train day ahead.

Georgia friends, see you soon. Tucson friends and family, see you for Thanksgiving. Xoxo

Growing

I made a website for my artwork.  It still needs some work, but I’m feeling pleased.  (I feel like a grownup artist.)

In other news, tomorrow I am going to Salt Lake City to see one of my oldest friends get married.

I was hoping to see my lady Kara too, but it looks like she’ll be out of town, so I will have to patiently wait for our paths to cross again.
